The River Temple is a location in the Barrowcross Moor. A river spirit lives in a small temple on an island in the fork of the river here. An ancient promise binds her: she will offer aid to those who need it, but not as they expect; and cryptic words to those who will listen. The words of her oath are remembered by none but her.
