Sometimes a wrestler isn't in it to win. Sometimes they just need to be better than the best fighter in a small town. Sometimes they need to be able to defeat the hometown hero to collect a quick buck. It's all about timing, analysis, and having the most impressive stance when you need it. Showoff Wrestling is a terrible fighting art for hurting someone, but great for fighting anyone not prepared to fight you.

You may fork a wise related to your opponent's fighting art, or the actual Fighting Art itself, skilled wrestlers will often dabble in other arts to make their talents seem impressive.
