Paradise Island

The Glittering Shark approached the Paradise of Flame. Israfil and Adria were trying to manage the island and learn about the volcano and specifically fill Zenth's task. Keeping Zenth and several sailors on the boat to watch over the Vaun aboard the Shark, Daemon-Israfil, Adria, and Dunwick landed on the island. The cultists greeted them, with Sez'teth particularly skeeved out the majority of the group.

After some amount of time managing the cult and trying to get a sense of the place, Adria was worried that the bees being gaslit, though it slowly dawned on the group that that was the norm in the location. As they explored the larger island, they noticed they were being stalked by a wolf. The daemon began to try to commune with the volcano, with the wolf stalking them, to try to stop the daemon from aligning the volcano from itself.

At around this time, The Tim, and both Israfil and The Captain arrived on the island. Israfil decided to ignore the cult itself and immediately went to hunt down the daemon impersonating them. Unfortunately the daemon disappeared into the woods. The effects ended with the One Who Bears Scars, Israfil, and Adria at the top of the chimney, with a daemon lurking nearby invisibly. They decided to awaken the volcano, a thing they did successfully, at the cost of Adria being possessed by a daemon.

As the island awoke, pandemonium erupted, with an army of cultists approaching the volcano, a howling wolf, and Adria fleeing into the night. Adria, finding Zenth summoning the deity to wipe out the cult's loyalists to remake it in her image. Israfil faced down a series of cultist, specifically Sez'teth formed into an Owlbear. They fought the beast to a standstill, and the Owlbear collapsed, as a roden. Similarly, Adria, attempted to save Zenth from the flooded meditation chamber, with a daemon offering to help rip open the grate. Adria did not save Zenth. But Israfil and Adria managed to free the deity before the Island was set aflame, and before any mass murder occurred.

The sailors on the Shark started to head home, with Firth claiming the boat and going hunting on his own.

But at least everyone is home. The rescued slaves from Vaun Ens went home, or to Israfil's Manor in order to be safe.
