Paradise of Flame

The Paradise of Flame is an Island owned by the Cult of Flame, run by Sez'teth. It is a cult of about 30 people, and mostly relies on the island being warmed by the still living volcano, and the small hot springs that dot the island for consistent living conditions. There are a few small permanent buildings that function as indoor bedrooms for those who are sick or injured, as well as for Sez'teth and his lieutenant to spend time indoors.

The fields are large and tended by the hands of the cult, taking up a large portion of the day, despite that fact that fish and fruit take up most of the diet of the inhabitants. There are also a few beehives mostly used for honey to make mead, and the grain used to make mash to make a limited vodka.

The culture of the island is dedicated to ritual activity, with all daily chores and tasks set around the chiming of an ancient lizardfolk clock, fed by a pump system pulled up from the ocean. The clock was designed for managing seasons, but is accurate enough to count seconds, and can be set to chime every hour on the hour.

The cult has been trying many different things to improve the island, and has been practicing and learning to speak to the volcano, using dance as their core ritual expression.
